Privacy and support

Who this app is for

Handball Stats is intended for coaches and club staff. Players do not create accounts. Coaches who enter information about players are responsible for having the permission and legal basis required by their club and applicable law, particularly when players are minors.

Information we process

• Account email address and authentication identifier when a coach creates an account.
• Club, team, age category and gender information entered by the coach.
• Player names, shirt numbers and match statistics entered by the coach.
• Match information such as opponent, score, events, phases and shot zones.

How information is used

We use this information only to provide account access, synchronise teams and matches, calculate statistics, restore match history and create exports requested by the coach. We do not use the data for advertising, profiling or cross-app tracking, and we do not sell it.

Guest mode

Guest mode does not require an account. Guest teams and matches remain on the device unless the user chooses to share an exported file. Deleting the app may remove this local information permanently.

Storage and service providers

Registered-account data is stored using Supabase, which provides authentication and database services. Apple and Expo may process technical information needed to distribute and run the app. Each provider handles information under its own terms and privacy commitments.

Retention and deletion

Registered-account information is retained while the account remains active. A coach can permanently delete the account from the app. This deletes the account and associated teams, players, matches and events, except information we must retain to comply with law. A coach may also contact support for help.

Your choices

Coaches can review and correct team and player information in the app, export match information, use the app without registration in guest mode, or delete their account. Privacy requests can be sent to the support contact published on this page.

Children's information

The service is not directed to children and does not allow players to register. Coaches should enter only the minimum player information needed for team statistics and should follow their club's privacy procedures for youth players.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app or legal requirements change. The current version and update date will remain available on this page.
