This DPA forms part of the Terms when a club or authorised coach uses Handball Tracker for player data. The club is the controller and the Handball Tracker operator is the processor. The operator’s legal identity and address must be completed before this DPA is relied on commercially.
Instructions and purpose
We process team rosters and match events only to store, synchronise, display, secure, support, delete and export them as instructed through the service. Processing lasts while the account or relevant records exist.
Optional anonymous benchmarks
If the controller explicitly enables anonymous team benchmarks for a team, it confirms that it is authorised to do so. Handball Tracker may then transform the selected team’s match metrics into aggregate internal coaching statistics using team context such as birth year, gender and country. Names, shirt numbers, account details and club identity are excluded; individual-team data is not published or shared. Participation can be withdrawn for future contributions. Until data is truly anonymised, it remains personal data and is handled under this DPA.
People and data
Data subjects may include players, coaches and staff. Data includes names, shirt numbers, team membership, age category, gender and handball performance events. Users must not enter special-category data, health data, contact details, photos or identity documents.
Processor commitments
- Process data only on documented instructions and notify the controller if an instruction appears unlawful.
- Ensure confidentiality and appropriate technical and organisational security.
- Assist reasonably with data-subject requests, security incidents, DPIAs and regulator enquiries.
- Notify the controller without undue delay after becoming aware of a relevant personal-data breach.
- Delete or return data at the end of service, subject to legal requirements and temporary backups.
- Provide information reasonably needed to demonstrate compliance and permit proportionate audits.
Subprocessors and transfers
Approved categories are Supabase (database/authentication) and OpenAI Sites/hosting infrastructure (website delivery). The controller gives general authorisation for these subprocessors. Material additions will be announced so the controller can object on reasonable data-protection grounds. International transfers require a lawful transfer mechanism and supplementary safeguards where required.
Controller commitments
The controller must establish a lawful basis, give required notices, minimise data, manage authorised users and retention, answer data-subject requests, and avoid prohibited data. Contact handballstats.support@gmail.com for assistance.

Vi behandler laglister og kamphendelser bare for å lagre, synkronisere, vise, sikre, støtte, slette og eksportere dem etter instruksjoner i tjenesten. Behandlingen varer så lenge kontoen eller opplysningene finnes.
Frivillig anonym benchmarking
Hvis den behandlingsansvarlige uttrykkelig aktiverer anonym benchmarking for et lag, bekrefter den at den har fullmakt til det. Handball Tracker kan da omforme lagets kampmålinger til aggregerte interne trenerstatistikker med lagkontekst som fødselsår, kjønn og land. Navn, draktnummer, kontoopplysninger og klubbidentitet utelates, og data på enkeltlagnivå publiseres eller deles ikke. Deltakelse kan trekkes tilbake for fremtidige bidrag. Frem til data er reelt anonymisert, behandles de som personopplysninger under denne avtalen.
Plikter
Vi følger dokumenterte instrukser, ivaretar konfidensialitet og sikkerhet, bistår med rettighetskrav og DPIA, varsler relevante brudd uten ugrunnet opphold og sletter eller returnerer data ved opphør. Klubben må ha behandlingsgrunnlag, informere spillere/foresatte, begrense tilgang og lagringstid og ikke registrere sensitive eller unødvendige opplysninger.
Underdatabehandlere
Godkjente kategorier er Supabase og OpenAI Sites med hostinginfrastruktur. Vesentlige endringer varsles. Overføringer utenfor EØS skal ha gyldig overføringsgrunnlag og nødvendige tilleggstiltak. Kontakt handballstats.support@gmail.com.
